“Cold Weather” Shiitake Mushroom Log will fruit between 40 and 70 degrees F. These strains have a long natural outdoor season with heavy fruiting in early spring and late fall. They do not respond well to forced fruiting and our best left to fruit naturally.

“Warm Weather” Shiitake Mushroom Log will fruit between 45 and 75 degrees. You can expect to see flushes mid spring, summer and early fall. These strains provide a long fruiting season in spring and fall. Warm weather strains respond well to forced fruiting methods but will have a longer life span if left to fruit naturally.

“Wide Range” Shiitake Mushroom Log will fruit at temps of 55-75 F. You can expect these to fruit mid spring and early fall. These strains react well to forced fruiting methods.
